Disney OOTD || Village Ariel
Look at this bound, isn't it neat?
Hey guys! Today, Madi and I decided to do a little bounding. Sometimes, adding a little extra magic to your outfit will just make your day a million times better. Since we didn't really have much to do today, Madalyn and I decided to go out, get some Starbucks and just do a mini phone photoshoot in our side yard.
Let's start with Madalyn's outfit. Now, we know Trolls isn't Disney, but the love for this movie is real guys. Madi decided to do a Branch bound. She wore her gray Olive Juice brand peasant dress, and paired it with her Danielle Nicole Trolls cross body bag. Even though this style is super simple, her freshly dyed blue hair just made this bound over the top. The mixtures of grays and blues just screams Branch!
For my bound, I decided to go with Village Ariel! You know, blue dress, peasant Ariel. I threw a modern "hipster" spin on her outfit and this is what I came up with! Starting from the top, I decided to wear a headband that a friend of mine made. Frances Fowlkes on Instagram custom made me a dress and made this headband with extra fabric she had. And man, do I love this headband! Next up, my 90s styled sunglasses are seriously becoming my favorite summer staple. I bought these pink oval glasses on Amazon, can't go wrong with Prime!
Then, of course, I had to wear my Fett&Co. Mermaid Babe tee - made by moi! Be sure to grab one of these in our next shop opening! It's the perfect crop to add a touch of Disney magic without it being cheesy. I love wearing these simple designs out and about during my non-disney days. I paired my tee with this blue and white striped maxi skirt that I bought off of Amazon. This skirt is amazing! It's light and airy but also so versatile because there are buttons up the length of it, allowing you to wear and style it different ways.
To complete the outfit, I styled it with a few more accessories. The first is this amazing Flounder Danielle Nicole cross body bag. Not only are Danielle Nicole's bags adorably styled but they're so well made and worth the money. During the summertime, I rarely wear shoes. Well...in general I rarely wear shoes. I'm a barefoot kinda girl. But when I do wear shoes, I live in sandals! The sandals I decided to pair with this outfit today were just a simple black pair from Target. And last, but certainly not least - my LNRCrochetDesigns Boba Fett coffee cozy! Lauren is my absolute favorite cozy maker. Not only does she crochet all of her cozies with love, but her appliqués are always so original and well made! She personally made me this Boba Fett cozy because one I love Boba (obviously) and two, it's on my favorite color, yellow. Obviously Boba Fett isn't very Ariel, but this is my go-to cozy to rep my brand and my love for all things Fett.
I hope you guys loved our little Disney OOTD! Comment below what you'd want to see me and Madi bound as next time! We're always looking for fun, unique bounds to do and to have an excuse to play dress up!
